Asian Meatballs are one of the most easy meatball recipes and they are widely used in Asian cuisines as an ingredient for soups, like Thai rice soup Khao Tom or Thai rice porridge Jok. In addition precooked and then deep-fried meatballs are offered at many street stalls as a snack, accompanied by a sweet and hot chili sauce. In our home country Thailand, the tasty Asian meatballs are called Look Chin and they are available made from pork, beef, chicken or even fish. We`ve been amazed whilst watching a young Thai girl producing this meatballs in our favorite restaurant for rice porridge in Chiang Mai, North Thailand. She filled the meat dough in a plastic bag, cutted an edge off and pressed the meat dough in hot broth. Within 5 minutes she produced with this cooking technique more then a hundred tasty meatballs.
